- Well, I read (in a novel actually) that, under British law, the
- copyright of correspondence belongs to the sender, but the physical
- medium (i.e., the paper) belongs to the receiver. This would
- suggest that redistributing email without permission infringes
- the sender's copyright. The novel, BTW, is A.S. Byatt's "Possession",
- which is a very good read.
