- I just bought a IIsi 64k cache card from TechWorks. Seemed like a good
- price of $155 after seeing it recently announced in MacWeek a few weeks
- ago. Well I installed the card and software and nothing happens. The
- software is a CDEV that never loads when I boot. I tried everything
- thinking I might have a conflict of some sort - no luck! When I run the
- C/P by itself, I get a message to the effect "Cannot execute program
- because there is not enough memory". I have plenty of memory, since I just
- booted the machine and can run anything else. I am on the second card from
- them and nothing has changed. They claim no knowledge of such problems and
- said I could talk to the person who wrote the software, except he is on
- vacation. I think that they sent me bad software - I just doubt it is the
- card.
-
- Any ideas? I am ready to return it. Could it possibly be my motherboard?
