- Actually, a large hunk of the MacOS is already in ROM (quickdraw, the
- file manager, the window manager, parts of the system file etc etc)
- although not all of it. Apple has never had any trouble patching it
- before, for new Systems. Why should putting the WHOLE system in ROM
- change this? (assuming o' course u had a CD-ROM, Hard Drive or something
- like that to boot off of- and I dont see how a new Mac would be
- much good without something like that)
