- I read recently in _MacWeek_ that some of the new macs, just the
- Performa's, I think, will have system 7 in the ROM. I was first
- disappointed. I was considering buying one, but not if the system
- being in ROM would not allow upgrades. After all, where would we
- all be if system 6 was permanently in our current ROMs. We'd have to
- buy new ones to upgrade to sys7 (I think.) However, wouldn't this mean
- increased speed and more free memory? Do things in ROM require RAM?
- I'd be interested in hearing what others think. I just can't make up
- my mind!
