  11. A friend of mine recently bought a Mac 512k for word processing and playing 
  12. Tetris. She also bought an AEG Olympia NP30 printer (an Imagewriter clone).
  13. We can't get the damn thing to print her MacWrite files. What I see as the  
  14. problem is that the AEG Manual asks for an 8-pin circular connector to the  
  15. Macintosh (which is available on the plus) while the 512k has the 9 pin  
  16. rectangular connector. The printer seems to be working fine (i.e. the self- 
  17. test went smoothly), and there are no error messages during printing (the  
  18. computer acts as if the printing has taken place, when it HASN'T!).
