  22.     I'm sorry about the mangled posting.  I'm really not sure what 
  23. happened.  I posted it as usual from pilot.njin.net and checked it at my 
  24. normal site, tesla.njit.edu.  At Tesla the FAQ made it into 
  25. comp.sys.mac.misc unmangled so I assumed it was O.K. and headed off for a 
  26. week's vacation in New Orleans.  After waiting out hurricane Andrew, I 
  27. returned and began catching up on news when I discovered to my surprise 
  28. that the FAQ was mangled (here at Tesla) in comp.sys.mac.apps and 
  29. comp.sys.mac.system though not in comp.sys.mac.misc.  I have no idea why 
  30. this occurred, but I'll be reposting it and cancelling the old post 
  31. shortly.  If anyone knows what might have caused this and can suggest how I
  32. might avoid this in the future I'd appreciate the advice.
