- A silent Mac sometimes may be a blessing. HOWEVER, you'll probably want to
- choose when it falls silent. Try inserting a microplug into the speaker jack on
- the back of your Mac and then removing it. That connection, designed to disconnect
- internal sound when an external jack is plugged, may be dysfunctional.
