  11. We have an original LaserWriter which we have been using for years as a
  12. printer connected to a Sun by a serial line.  In this mode it works
  13. fine.  The problem arises when after properly connecting and switching
  14. over to Appletalk.  In this case, the Chooser locates and allows me to
  15. select the printer and to print to it.  However, almost every file I try
  16. to print (from word, etc...) will not print.  I get a postscript error
  17. making reference to the command exitserver.  The only files I've been
  18. able to print have been using SendPS to print a text file.  No
  19. postscript files generated with command-f or command-k work, no other
  20. applications, etc...

  22. This suggests to me a problem in the version of Postscript in the
  23. Laserwriter roms.  However, I can't believe that Apple leaves people
  24. hanging,  shouldn't the LaserWriter driver work for ALL laserwriters. 
  25. (BTW I've tried Laserwriter 5.2 and 7.0)

  27. Any ideas for correcting this problem, or about what is going on?
