- I can see that this is becoming an unresolvable philosophical debate. UNIX
- chose simplicity, Apple chose functionality. If UNIX users moved their files
- and directories around as much as Mac users, their symbolically-linked file
- systems would become so much shredded cabbage. With desktop metaphors
- penetrating the UNIX realm (OpenWindows, HP-VUE, and others), I sense that much
- coleslaw is in the offing.

- complication of the Mac File Manager interface, an amount far exceeded by the
