- Thanks for clarification on this. I suppose your Mac wordprocessor also does
- Japanese and Russian and Arabic spell checking and hyphenation by simply
- telling the OS that you now are in Russia or Japan. Without buying Russian and
- Japanese dictionaries and hyphenation tables. Otherwise this "foreign language
- scripts" are way to trivial to get a dedicated name in OS/2 or even Windows.
- Of course you can configure your system for different nationalities and of
- course your spreadsheet uses a decimal point in UK and a decimal colon in
- Germany.
- BTW: This is something which doesn`t alwasy work on the Mac. Try it with System
- 6.1.7 and IGOR 1.25 and you will see there is no chance to use German number
- format on a German configured Mac.
