- Sorry, but I come from Binghamton, NY. You know, IBM-ville? I
- did my graduate work at the Thomas Watson School of Engineering.
- Suffice it to say that I knew lots of IBMers, all of whom thought
- that IBM had promised there would never be layoffs. Many of those
- people are now ex-IBMers and strange, they all think they were laid
- off. As did the local newspapers.
