  11. Hello, all.  I hope I'm asking this to the right group.

  13. I have been a PC user for years, but because of some graduate work I'm doing,
  14. I need to get up to speed on macs.  In trying to download mac stuff from ftp
  15. sites, I've noticed that all of the files are hqx, sit, sea or dde.  I realize
  16. these are all compress extensions, so I went into a util directory to get some
  17. uncompress files (binhex for hqx, etc), but those files were compressed too.
  18. My question is: how do I get executable versions of binhex, etc?
