  30. I submit that this is not the way a style should work (nor is my experience
  31. that this is the way they DO work - when they work).  There is no point
  32. to having a stylesheet at all if the definition of the style must be
  33. repeated in each paragraph to which it is supposed to apply.

  35. What is the point of a stylesheet, if not to be able to select a style
  36. simply by referring to the style ID?  If you have to repeat the definition
  37. each time, then the stylesheet itself if vestigial.
