  14. Locking the project in the finder can have a dramatic effect on speed
  15. and would also probably help with your problem. I seem to remember
  16. that cantModify has no effect in SC (don't have my SC manuals handy).
  17. Note that several things crashes or do nothing when the project is
  18. locked (e.g. setting window names, hacking menus). Some of the
  19. problems with a locked project can be overcome by not closing windows
  20. where you want some info to stay but instead hide them. What goes for
  21. project above is equally true with standalone versions.
