- Greetings to my follow scripters! I want to thank those who responded to my
- general question regarding "sharedText" and provide a little more detail in
- the hopes of finding a solution.
-
- I'm using HyperCard as follows:
-
- /Step1
- /
- /Task1-------------------Step2
- / \
- / \Step3
- /
- / /Step1
- / /
- Module1--------Task2-------------------Step2
- \ \
- \ \Step3
- \
- \ /Step1
- \ /
- \Task3-------------------Step2
- \
- \Step3
-
-
- Each Module calls its own set of Tasks and each Task calls its own set of
- Steps. The Module field works easily with the "sharedText" option, but I
- cannot figure out how to share the tasks with their respective Step cards.
- ie: Mod1Task2 field should share its text with Mod1Task2Step1, Mod1Task2Step2,
- and Mod1Task2Step3. I'm using a clickLine in each field to goto or generate
- a new card. Somebody help me, how do I get the Task field to share its text
- with its steps. All help will be most greatly appreciated and I will respond
- either privately or publicly to all those interested. Many thanks.
