  12. My wife teachs kindergarten and uses a donated mac (old 512k model) with her
  13. students. The floppy drives, both internal and the external unit, fail to
  14. eject the disk when dragging the icon to the trash can. They both make an
  15. attempt, as demonstrated by the mechanical sounds, but the disk simply
  16. resettles in the drive.

  18. As many of you know CA does not fund schools well, so taking it down to
  19. the local mac shop is out. Anybody familiar with this kind of problem and
  20. better yet, does anyone have suggested repairs. We can handle the work.
