  37. I suspect if you want to use a US version you could, as long as it supports
  38. pulse dial.  I believe the only difference will be the cable connector,
  39. although I have not used a modem specifically in Italy.  However, unless
  40. you buy it from the PTT (good luck) it may not be 'approved' in some 
  41. countries.  But that's between you and your Mac...
