- I have a Mac user who wants to put a graphics card in a Mac IIsi and I've
- heard conflicting stories. One is that all of the video hardware that's
- on the mother board does it's own graphics primitive, and an external card
- (for an Apple 12" monitor) would just be a waste of money. The other story
- is that a graphics card could significantly accelerate screen operations
- and help the overall performance of the machine.
-
- Does adding an 8-bit card to a Mac IIsi with Apple 12" monitor really
- help? Would I see noticable performance improvement in graphics? How
- about with CPU operations?
-
- Any insight or comments would be greatly appreciated.
-
- Thanks in advance.
