  11. Hi!  I just talked with a friend of mine who is a Certified
  12. Macintosh Technician or something along those lines.  Well
  13. he told me that the PowerBooks are junk.  He said that they
  14. are constantly doing work on them.  He said that the screens
  15. or displays are really having problems.

  17. This discouraged me a great deal as I am getting ready to 
  18. buy a PowerBook.  Can anyone out there give me some good news
  19. on PowerBooks.  I plan to buy a 180 when they come out.  I do
  20. not have a personal Mac right now and I was planning on the 
  21. 180 to be my Mac for everything.  I was going to buy and 
  22. external Monitor and put on it for home use.  I have a CI at
  23. work right now and really like it but I need portablity.
