- Hi! I just talked with a friend of mine who is a Certified
- Macintosh Technician or something along those lines. Well
- he told me that the PowerBooks are junk. He said that they
- are constantly doing work on them. He said that the screens
- or displays are really having problems.
-
- This discouraged me a great deal as I am getting ready to
- buy a PowerBook. Can anyone out there give me some good news
- on PowerBooks. I plan to buy a 180 when they come out. I do
- not have a personal Mac right now and I was planning on the
- 180 to be my Mac for everything. I was going to buy and
- external Monitor and put on it for home use. I have a CI at
- work right now and really like it but I need portablity.
-
- Any good news or ideas?
