  22. I say go for it.  If all you need is a terminal and are not doing and 
  23. "computing" on the 512- why not????

  25. Also, many folks thought those were great for word processing, light DB, 
  26. etc.  That ability hasn't gone away! Get some older software (look in the 
  27. bottom of those drawers!!) and use it!

  34. If your work will fit on a 400K floppy, you could move files that way- the 
  35. Quadra will read 'em!

  40. Really, now, it's value is what kind of work it will do for you.  If it sits 
  41. on your desk and gives you access to a mainframe that you otherwise would 
  42. have to go down the hall to use, then it's worth a whole bunch.

  44. Dollar wise, I wouldn't spend more than $200 if the owner gives you all the 
  45. goodies- 2nd drive, OS, *and* a shoebox full of old software that runs on 
  46. it.

  48. Buying it "nude" as it were, I'd give $100 'cause you are going to have to 
  49. root around for the OS and software.
