- I say go for it. If all you need is a terminal and are not doing and
- "computing" on the 512- why not????

- Also, many folks thought those were great for word processing, light DB,
- etc. That ability hasn't gone away! Get some older software (look in the
- bottom of those drawers!!) and use it!

- If your work will fit on a 400K floppy, you could move files that way- the
- Quadra will read 'em!

- Really, now, it's value is what kind of work it will do for you. If it sits
- on your desk and gives you access to a mainframe that you otherwise would
- have to go down the hall to use, then it's worth a whole bunch.

- Dollar wise, I wouldn't spend more than $200 if the owner gives you all the
- goodies- 2nd drive, OS, *and* a shoebox full of old software that runs on
- it.

- Buying it "nude" as it were, I'd give $100 'cause you are going to have to
- root around for the OS and software.
