-
-
- The NEC 24x is the PrecisionColor 24x with only the timings for the NEC
- line of displays. (The 24x supports almost any monitor)

-
-
- True. The 8x is a depopulated 24x. It can be upgraded at any time to a
- 24x by
- adding VRAM. Radius Product xxxx-xxxxx is the VRAM for the updgrade,
- available
- from your local dealer. You can also upgrade it half way to a 16x, which
- gives
- you only up to 16 bit mode.
-
-
- The PrecisionColor product line:
-
-
- PrecisionColor 8: This card does up to 2 pages at 8 bits. Not
- upgradeable.
- PrecisionColor 8xj: This card is accelerated and does 2 pages at 8
- bits.
- not upgradeable.
- PrecisionColor 8x: PrecisionColor 24x with only enough VRAM to do 8
- bits.
- Upgradeable to 24 bits with VRAM.
- PrecisionColor 8xk: This card only does up to 1024x768. It is
- upgradeable by
- adding VRAM.
- PrecisionColor 24x: Top of the line accelerated 24 bit board that
- supports
- up to 1152x882 (two full pages).
-
- All boards support video timings from 640x480 up to 1024x768.
-
- PrecisionColor/20 Display: Sony trinitron monitor that is capable of
- handling
- all the timings supported by the PrecisionColor board line.
-
-
- Also included is Dynamic Desktop software that lets you switch screen
- sizes on
- the fly.
