  21. The Mobius accelerator does indeed turn an SE into a fast, very
  22. usable machine. Their monitor gives a very clean, linear picture.
  23. I wish it had a matte finish like the native Mac monitor, but this
  24. is a very MINOR complaint.

  26. The latest version of the accelerator supports up to 16 MB of RAM.
  27. They ship Virtual with it. IF you have an older model, they will
  28. ship you an upgrade for $265 plus tax. I just got mine today and
  29. have not installed it because my 4 MB SIMMs have not yet arrived.

  31. The accelerator allows you to use the memory on your Mac mother board
  32. as a RAM disk. I have found it to be very handy. Files on the RAM
  33. disk consistently survive system crashes and reboots, but not
  34. power failures.

  42. Good news. There is now a fix for your sound problem. Call Mobius
  43. service and they will send it to you. It works.

  45. I just ordered a Railgun 030 Pro from Mac Products USA. It is on
  46. back order for several weeks. It is designed by the same people
  47. that designed the Mobius accelerator and appears to offer a little
  48. more bang for the buck.

  50. Once I get it installed and have a chance to compare the equipment
  51. and the service offered by Mobius and Mac Products, I will upgrade
  52. the rest of my machines.
