- I've encountered an incompatibility between the Radius Rocket (running
- Rocketware 1.3) and the Global Village TelePort FullFax ADB fax-modem.
- Global Village's fax driver software will not load properly if the
- Rocket is enabled and 32-bit addressing is turned on (this is with
- System 7). Even with 32-bit addressing off, while I have been able to
- get Global's TelePort software to load, it still doesn't operate
- robustly (I've hung it a couple times). Needless to say, this is
- pretty frustrating, since I really would like to use my fax without
- rebooting the machine. I'm not sure where the responsibility lies,
- but since the GB s/w seems to work okay without the Rocket, it looks
- like the culprit.
-
- Has anyone gotten this configuration to work? Is there any hope of a
- software patch anytime soon from Radius? Would version 1.3.2 of the
- Rocket software help? Thanks in advance for the help.
