- You must format the drive with the proper interleave ratio (for Mac+
- that's 1:1) or else you may get frequent disk errors. I have a Mac+ and a
- LaCie Cirrus 80M external, and I love it. It's formatted at 1:1, and it's
- fast enough for anything I need that my Plus can do. I have never found access
- time to be the problem - it's more like CPU speed, at least for me.
- I run rather large spreadsheets and Word documents. That's what's
- killing me. We'll see what October has to offer.....
