  13. FOR SALE: Brainstorm accelerator for Mac Plus.

  15. I have one "still-in-the-shrink-wrap" Brainstrom accelerator for sale.
  16. This accelerator will work ONLY in a Mac Plus. It doubles the CPU
  17. speed and the bus speed to achieve an overall speed increase of
  18. approximately 225%. Your Plus must have 100ns or faster SIMMs installed.
  19. A hard drive and 4Meg of memory are recommended for maximum performance.

  21. I have had one installed in my Plus for a couple of months and I have
  22. been pleased with it. It is compatible with System 7.

  24. I want to sell this accelerator uninstalled - you will need to remove 
  25. a 20 pin DIP from the logic board and solder a 64 pin socket on top of
  26. the CPU. I have installed two of these accelerators without incident ...
