- Thanks to all who responded and pointed out my mistake. I had been so
- caught
- up in the fact that I had been trying to re-upgrade my plus to 4 MB that,
- when
- I was testing it with the 256 KB simms I had forgotten about the clipped
- resistor. I tried it with 2.5 MB and it works just fine. Now all I have to
- do
- is get the Chip Merchant to sent me a replacement for the simm that makes
- my
- mac sound like a popcorn popper!
