  12. Thanks to all who responded and pointed out my mistake. I had been so
  13. caught
  14. up in the fact that I had been trying to re-upgrade my plus to 4 MB that,
  15. when
  16. I was testing it with the 256 KB simms I had forgotten about the clipped
  17. resistor. I tried it with 2.5 MB and it works just fine. Now all I have to
  18. do
  19. is get the Chip Merchant to sent me a replacement for the simm that makes
  20. my
  21. mac sound like a popcorn popper!
