  11. Uh oh!  My company Mac IIcx has been doing the same thing - except for the sad 
  12. Mac and number part.  I never tried that way of starting.

  14. We replaced the logic board.  No fix.  We reseated the cards and connectors. 
  15. No fix.  Installed a new System (7).  No fix.  Reformatted the HD.  No fix. 
  16. Re-installed all the applications.  No fix.

  18. Finally, they replaced the 105 Quantum hard drive with an 80Mb, and
  19. re-installed all the backed up software.  So far, that has basically fixed the 
  20. problem.

  22. Have you heard of the new Aliens 4 virus?  SOunds like the kind of weird
  23. problems you'd get with it...
