- Also there may be a capacitor that has gone bad. The pluses are notorious
- for this
- (Apple put an underrated cap in C1). The book refered to in an earlier post
- has everything you need to know about repairing it yourself (I just did a
- couple).
- Also there are some companies tucked away in the back of MacUser and
- MacWorld that will exchange a board for pluses for about $50. (I don't
- remember which ones though) Good Luck
