- Here is some info from MacWeek:
-
- PowerBook 160 : 25MHz 68030, 4bit greyscale backlit supertwist screen,
- video out (8bit colour on 13" Monitor). No Math CoPro. Expected to be
- around the price that the 145 now holds.
-
- PowerBook 180 : 33MHz 68030, 4bit greyscale backlit active matrix, video
- out (8bit colour on a 16" display). Math CoPro. Around the price of a
- 170.
-
- The 160 and 180 can both act as an external hard drive when cabled to
- another Mac (Like the 100).
-
- Minimum 4Mb configuration, expandable to 14Mb (wonder what the SIMM bays
- would be like?). 80Mb and 120Mb hard drives will come with the 160 and
- 180.
-
- Prices of the models are expected to range from $2600 to $3500 depending
- on configuration.
-
- Wait till the 160 and 180 come out on October 19th, much better value
- than the 145 (which may be dropped or lowered in cost in October).
- Im gonna get one myself...
