- Dear Net BrainTrust,
-
- I recently upgraded my RAM on my IIci. When I went in to remove
- four 1 Mb simms from one of the banks to insert the new RAM,
- I discovered something unusual about the old RAM. They were
- not the usual SIMMS that I was expecting, but rather, they
- only had 2 memory chips on each SIMM instead of the usual 8.
- My question is, what is up this this type of SIMM. I have never
- heard of nor seen them before. Any info would be welcomed.
-
- Thanks in advance,
- Matt.
