  14. I have a Mac Classic which always worked fine until suddenly...
  15. I turned it on-- it beeped-- then the screen came on gray (like a normal
  16. desktop gray) and that was it.  No smiley mac; no startupscreen; no
  17. hard drive access; no pointer appears.

  19. It gives no error messages, no sad macs, no nothing.  It's like someone
  20. spray-painted the screen gray, and made it hum!
  21.  
  22. Even if I try a boot disk, nothing happens (not that I expected it to
  23. what with it not accessing the hard drive, either, but it was worth a
  24. try).  I am afraid it might (gasp!) be a problem with a logic board.
