- I just bought a Mac and need to get a surge protector. As far as I
- can tell, the only way to rate surge protectors is the number of
- breakers, the number of outlets, and the level at peaks that it can
- Handle. I have one now from Egghead that can handle spikes of up to
- 13,000 volts and can take a maximum of 15 amps for all of the outlets.
- I know that it all depends on where you live, but I was wondering it
- this is sufficient. I have a Mac Quadra 700, E Machines I, and an HP
- Deskwriter.
