- An FPU probably won't speed things up at all, unless you're into
- lots of heavy-duty mathematical calculation, and the software you
- use takes advantage of it. It certainly won't speed up screen
- display or your word processor, for example.

- The only real way to speed up your LC in any meaningful way would
- be to buy an accelerator board (what do you consider "cheap"?).
- Me, I'm going all out and buying a 50MHz PowerCache 030
- accelerator (Daystar Digital) -- you can get one from ~$1500
- upwards, depending on who you talk to. The PowerCache also comes
- in 33MHz and 40MHz versions, which are (naturally) cheaper. Check
- out the ads in Macworld or MacUser.
