- My WANGDAT tape drive refuses to eject my DAT tape.
- I use RetroSpect 1.3C and it won't eject the tape.
- I can't eject the tape manually either. I have even
- disconnected the WangDAT tape drive form my system and power
- cycled it to no avail.
-
- A friend says that the WangDAT has ahistory of this problem.
- does anyone out there know how to manual release the tape? When I
- try to pry the tape out it is held down TIGHT and won't come out.
-
- Any idea on how to get the tape out?
-
- BTW, I can still read/write from/to the tape drive using
- Retrospect. when i do a Retrospect EJECT on the WangDAT
- tape drive the drive goes to "NO MEDIA" which implies that
- the tape drive is responding to the eject command.
-
- help!!
