- i'm thinking of getting a pb100 WITHOUT the floppy (so i'm cheap ok!) in
- a 2/20 configuration that i can get for $600. My question is, can I survive
- without the floppy? If the system files get screwed up, I can't boot from
- the floppy then so will I be screwed?
-
- i think i read in a post that the pb100 can act as an external scsi drive
- for another mac. does that mean i could hook it up to another mac and copy
- stuff to its hard disk, fixing up any system goofups that may occur?
-
- i expect the thing comes with appleshare already installed on the hard
- drive, yes?
-
- any suggestions welcome (I know I should go for the 4/40 to run system 7, but
- I may just stay with 6!).
