  25. I guess one could differentiate between a 68008 and a 68000 if there
  26. is some kind of timer accessible and check whether the time to read
  27. bytes and words are about the same -> 68000, words much slower -> 68008.

  29. The 68070 (Signetics) has some status registers that can be examined
  30. that the other processors don't have. This goes for the 683xx also.

  32. 68012, has anyone seen this beast? ;-) This is a processor I've only
  33. heard of. Wasn't it made for just one customer?
