  18. Take a look at laptops based on the Cyrix 486SLC chip. They're cheap and
  19. pack reasonable power. PC Brand is advertising one for $1995 right now,
  20. w/a 120MB hard drive. Supposedly it beats a 20Mhz 486SX....

  22. The 486DLC is shipping now as well, which is a true 32-bit chip with a
  23. 1K cache, same as the 16-bit 486SLC. Hang a few months, you'll doubtless
  24. see some notebooks incorporating it as well.
