- This is not entirely correct. ALL PowerBook models have the ability to
- setup a RAM disk which you can boot from. ALL PowerBooks save the RAM disk
- during Restarts. On the 100 you have the additional feature that the RAM
- disk is saved when you Shutdown the PowerBook. As far as I know, on the
- 140,145,170 the RAM disk goes bye-bye when you shut them down. I get
- around this problem on my 170 by simply never shutting down; I just put it
- into "Sleep" mode because waking up is much faster than booting up. Not to
- mention that going to sleep is faster than shutting down because you don't
- need to close documents and quit applications.

- Yes, way cool. Although using AppleTalk and Personal Fileshare is not a
- bad substitute if you are unfortunate enough to own one of the higher end
- models. :-)
