  31. To answer the first question, I just bought a Powerbook 100 2 weeks ago at
  32. a Price Club here in Connecticut (store in New Britain); they had already
  33. sold 5 the day I got there, and they had a few more. Both that store and
  34. the Price Club in North Haven, CT, claim to be waiting for large re-orders,
  35. but have no info on an actual shipping date.

  37. To answer the second question, Price Club is a members-only type warehouse
  38. store with an annual fee; employees of non-profit and educational institutions
  39. are eligible, as are employees of many local businesses (each store keeps a
  40. list of what organizations are eligible); if you run your own business, you're
  41. also eligible for membership. They have great prices on floppies, desktop PC-
  42. compatible systems (mainly Dell), peripherals, and select software (they sell
  43. just about everything under the sun including food and dry goods). Their
  44. computer prices can be beat (not by very much) by mail order houses, but I like
  45. paying a bit more and going home with my new toy the same day! Unless you're
  46. another large business, I doubt that they'll accept any kind of phone or mail
  47. order.
