  29. You need Toshiba MSDOS to use the popup, battery gauge, and hotkeys.
  30. It's also recommended to use their EMM386.EXE if you're going to use
  31. that over QEMM386, since certain upper memory blocks are used for 
  32. popup and power management in ways that non-OEM memory managers
  33. won't recognize (C800-CFFF, which you should EXCLUDE).

  35. The power management routines themselves are built into the BIOS and
  36. the Intel microcode. Since the planar BIOS is inactive with OS/2
  37. it's a safe bet they won't work there.

  39. Vanilla Windows 3.1 works just dandy. You need to add a (provided)
  40. 386enh device driver to your Windows setup to make suspend/resume
  41. work properly with Windows.
