- Hello,
-
- I have recently acquired an IBM PS/2 model 70-121. I have gotten the
- machine up and running propoerly, run all the IBM Diagnostics, and low-level
- formatted the hard disk. I have some questions regarding the video options on
- this machine:
-
- 1-I presently have a NEC MGE-MCA video board in the system, and it is
- running at 800 X 600 in 16 Colour mode under windows. This is actually
- a TIGA board. I am moving to OS/2 2.0. Does anybody know of OS/2 2.0 Drivers for this board?
-
- 2-If necessary, I will purchase an 8514/A type card to replace the
- NEC Tiga Board. What would be the going price for one of these,
- new or used, and how do the ATI equivalents compare?
-
- 3-Are there any altermatives to the above mentioned cards that I
- should know about?
-
- Please reply by email
-
- Regards,
- Gus
