- I have heard of 486 boards that plug into the 386 chip sockets, but what I had
- in mind when I wrote the original posting, were replacements for the
- daughterboard which holds the CPU in the PS/2 Model 70 A21's and B21's.

- BTW, the A21 uses a 25MHz 386 and the B21 uses a 25Mhz 486. You can upgrade a
- Model 70 A21 to a Model 70 B21 by just replacing the daughterboard in the
- machine. (IBM charges about $2500 I think).

- So IBM, we were promised upgradability when we bought these machines,
- how about delivering and coming out with a 486DX2 daughterboard for the
- Model 70 A21's? (or should we have bought Compaq's?)
