  13. I am using a SB Pro with 386BSD, and currently I can use the
  14. DSP to playback digitized sounds. I would like to use one of
  15. the compression modes to reduce the amount of data flying
  16. about. I do not know what compression method is used, can
  17. anyone describe it, please ?

  19. Pointers to DOS binaries which will do this for me are of
  20. no use, since I'll be using 386BSD exclusively. Source code
  21. is, of course, welcome :-)
