- Hi,
-
- I have been thinking about getting a soundboard, but I am not sure
- what to get. I have a 486/33 and the card would be used for games.
- I have noticed that Soundblaster makes the card the most of my games
- use, but I know that there is a Soundblaster, Soundblaster Pro Basic,
- and Soundblaster Pro. I have heard that high speed computers have
- problems with the regular Soundblaster; is that true? Also, what is
- the difference between the Pro and the Pro Basic? Generally, I want to
- know what card would be good for games and would work with my system.
- If the regular Soundblaster works with a 486/33 then I would consider that
- card since it is less expensive and would only be used for games.
- Please, toss in whatever knowledge you have.
-
- Thanks,
- Peter von Kaenel (vonk@cs.rochester.edu)
