  12. Please forgive the intrusion by a non-PC user...

  14. I'm teaching a class in Programming Languages, and the students would
  15. like to learn some C++.  Many of them have PCs of one sort or another.
  16. It would be nice if I could provide them with a PD or shareware C++
  17. compiler--GCC or some such--so they don't have to rely on the
  18. university computers.

  20. Where can I get a C++ suitable for PCs that I can hand out?

  22. If from an ftp site, I'll need instructions on downloading as well.
  23. I'm sure these things are covered in a FAQ list somewhere, but I did a
  24. little hunting around and couldn't find one.  Where would it be?
