- hey! i just picked up a copy of Microsoft FORTRAN ($65 (educational
- discount vs. $300+ retail)). looks pretty good so far...
-
- the question: has anybody out there ported the PGPLOT plotting subroutine
- package (created at Caltech by Tim Pearson) to the PC under MS FORTRAN?
- i tried compiling all of the source (minus the drivers) on our VAX using
- the /F77 switch, and all of it compiled with no errors or warnings. this
- tells me that it souldnt be too tough to port it (one could use the
- graphics.lib supplied with the compiler to build the device driver...).
-
- before i try, has anybody else already done this? has anybody tried and
- failed? is it MUCH more difficult than to do than i think?
-
- anybody? anybody? mr. beuler?
-
-
- thanks....
