- I just purchased a GVC internal 14.4K baud modem to replace my slow
- (but faithful) 2400 baud Cardinal. I also picked up the latest version of
- Telix (3.15), mostly because I was told that it had a companion program
- that was made for automatically configuring modems. Sure enough, it does,
- and it's a nice program indeed, except that there was only one GVC modem
- listed, and it wasn't mine. I've since downloaded TXMDM207 from wuarchives,
- and this had about seven GVCs listed, ranging from 2400 baud to 9600 baud.
- I can only assume that mine was fresh off the drawing board. If anyone,
- especially the author of the program, reads this, could I ask that the
- GVC 14.4K be listed? The model numbers are as follows:
-
- FM-144HVbis (with FAX)
-
- SM-144HVbis (without FAX)
-
- Many thanks,
-
