- Procomm computes d/l and u/l time using the baud rate your com port is set
- to. This means that if it is set to 9600 baud, Procomm will figure out the
- correct figure based on this speed, no matter what speed the modem is talking
- to the host at. If you want the correct times, use ALT-P or the dialing
- directory to set the com port speed to the highest speed of your modem. If
- you have some sort of compression modem, this is counterproductive, and you
- should just live with the time error.
