  11. From my experience QBasic runs faster, how I tested this was to run the
  12. same code under both interpreters on an NEC V30 (8086) running at 10Mhz
  13. with an 8087 installed (I don't know if the co-processor was used).  But
  14. the difference in speed wasn't THAT noticeable.  The program was a simple
  15. graphics animation of running horses that came with the 1st edition of DOS
  16. Power Tools by Paul Somerson.
