- I've been using mathematica on a NeXT and it works great.
- I started using the microsoft windows version on a 486 and it
- seems to have real problems.
- I'm new to the 486 so clue me in.
- I keep getting an error window saying something to the effect that
- I need to change the memory in my pif editor or reduce the number of
- applications running. The problem is that only windows and mathematica
- are running and I don't quite know what to do about the pif editor
- I did try changing the default in the pif to 0 and I thought that would
- allow windows to use the minimum memory. Still crashed.
- Any suggestions. Oh, incidentally, mathematica is a memory hog for sure.
